We walked into Loréa, and there was no hostess at the entrance. We sat down at a table, only to be told to stand up and leave. We then approached the hostess, gave our phone number, and were told it would be 10 minutes. Well, 10 minutes have passed, and no one called us, even though the restaurant is half empty. This is awful, American-style service at its worst—just plain awful. I’ll add a picture showing how empty it really is while they’re telling us there’s some sort of wait.

Came for brunch, left emotionally attached. Lōrea is the kind of place where you tell yourself “just something light” and suddenly you’re sipping wine at noon, staring out at the ocean like you’ve made excellent life choices. The fish tacos? Illegal levels of good. The breakfast burrito? I would trust it with my future. Service was so on point I briefly considered asking our server to manage my personal life. And the vibe? Imagine if a Pinterest board and a beach day had a very stylish baby. Also, shoutout to whoever decided wine + brunch + ocean view was acceptable behavior. You’re doing important work. 10/10 would absolutely come back and pretend I’m a local again.

We always stay at the Hilton, but never miss this Gem. The food is phenomenal. We love the Earth crispy rice sushi. The spicy little gem salad is a well crafted flavor bomb. The steak and house made Chimichurri were so good we ate it two days in a row. Aside from the amazing food their hospitality is finely executed and make you truly feel welcome and celebrated. The Sous chef is a master of his craft and we appreciate you sending us the lobster Mac and cheese and house made fries they were a beautiful addition to our charred broccolini. We will be back and continue to refer you to friends and family.🙏🥳❤️

Came here for free-dinner drinks and snacks while staying at the Pasea. It was lovely sitting out on the patio facing the Pacific Ocean with the sun setting. It definitely exudes a nice beachside vibe. The drinks were nice and the food so-so - we had the grilled sushi and the presentation was very fancy. Nice place to chill out and possibly have a meal (prices look reasonable for location).

The food was excellent! Looked & tasted very fresh. Very attentive servers that were always close by to get whatever was needed. Sitting outside on the patio was a great choice because the views of the ocean were spectacular! Highly recommend and will definitely go back. The Gingerbread House in the lobby & Christmas decorations, like their tree, really created a very festive vibe.
